Location

EPM 28730 is a single granted exploration permit of ~17,250 ha covering the entire 10 × 8.5 km Fletchers Awl Dome, about 28 km west of Dysart in Central Queensland — sealed-road access, Bowen Basin infrastructure and an established mining workforce. This is the only granted tenement in the portfolio.

Why we think it’s prospective

The body of interest is an oxidised, magnetite-bearing diorite — the classic fertile signature. Geochronology places it in the Carboniferous–Permian Kennedy Igneous Association, the family responsible for the bulk of North Queensland’s intrusion-related gold endowment (Ravenswood, Charters Towers, Kidston, Mt Leyshon, Pajingo and others — on the order of 40 Moz).

July 2026 mapping assembled six localities at different levels of one zoned hydrothermal system around the diorite — from epithermal veins at the palaeo-boiling horizon (fixed by photographed lattice-bladed calcite) to a silicified stockwork ridge carrying the 40.5 g/t chip. Around it sits a >13 km² alteration halo. The flagship vein has textures, historical grade, workings and a drill tie-point — and has never been tested.

Historical data, in summary

Prior work comprised eleven shallow 1970s uranium holes and 47 1990s percussion holes — but no diamond drilling — plus 1988–1994 rock, soil and stream geochemistry and a July 2026 field program of 37 rock samples (described, not yet assayed). A modern spectral interpretation identifies 21 alteration targets (6 priority-one).

Priority targets. (1) “As the Crow Flies” — lattice-bladed calcite places it at the palaeo-boiling horizon; gossan, historical 2.63 g/t over 2.5 m, and a sulphide tie-point 83 m away in an old hole that drilled the wrong way. Drill-ready. (2) The northern gold–gossan cluster — the best raw gold on the property (37.5 g/t), never soil-sampled. (3) The 40.5 g/t silicified ridge corridor.
