Purpose
Epi Resources is an early-stage gold explorer assembling a portfolio across two of the region’s established gold provinces — the volcanic arcs of Papua New Guinea and the Kennedy belt of Central Queensland.
The company’s approach is deliberately staged and capital-efficient: decisive, inexpensive answers first — re-plotting historical data, re-assaying archived core, sampling springs, geophysics — before any rig is booked. The aim for a pre-IPO investor is entry ahead of the value-defining steps: grant of the three applications, first modern results, and the maiden drill tests, across four independent systems.

Sinton Spence, MBE
A Port Moresby–based Chartered Accountant with four decades in PNG, Sinton founded Sinton Spence Chartered Accountants, one of the country’s largest independent firms. He chairs Adyton Resources and has been a director of Sierra Mining and Shell PNG. Awarded an MBE in 2006 for services to PNG commerce.
Ken Crichton
A mining engineer with 30+ years in gold, Ken led the team that discovered the multi-million-ounce Dish Mountain deposit in Ethiopia. He was Head of Operations at Newcrest’s Lihir gold mine (a record 900,000 oz in 2016) and chairs ASX-listed peer PT Archi Indonesia.
Keith Downham
A mining engineer who began in the Western Australian gold fields, Keith has spent three decades taking projects from concept to operation across Australia, Indonesia and PNG. He currently leads the Orokolo Bay project in Gulf Province, PNG, as MD of Ortus Resources.
Corporate & ownership structure
Held outright, with a single production-only royalty.
Epi Resources (Australia) is the ultimate holding company and owns 100% of each of the four project entities. The group holds the projects outright — no joint venture, earn-in or third-party equity at the project level — and carries no debt.

Net smelter royalty: a 1% NSR to the founders becomes payable only if, and when, a project is developed into an operating mine. It does not attach to the exploration programmes described here.
